Challenge
A major operator in the Middle East managed thousands of conventional wells across onshore and offshore assets. Integrity data was fragmented: well construction records sat in one system, pressure test results in another, and barrier status tracking relied on manual processes that couldn’t keep pace with the size of the asset base. Without a unified view of well condition, the team struggled to assess risk consistently across the portfolio. Wells were shut in as a precaution when integrity status was unclear, and the lack of a centralized method for storing caliper log and cement interpretation findings made it harder to plan targeted interventions. Non-productive time accumulated, and production suffered.
