Peloton is 'well focused' on developing and providing the world's best drilling and well data software solutions. We have a strong understanding of not just software development, but of how E&P companies operate.

Peloton's history dates back to 1991, when we began our development of WellView®, a comprehensive tool which allows oil and gas companies to manage their data from request to drill, and through to abandonment. Today, Peloton offers MasterView®, WellView®, SiteView®, RigView®, ProdView™ and the Schematic Component. More than 180 oil and gas companies throughout the world rely on our technology to make better-informed decisions and to be better-focused oil and gas companies.

Peloton has been self-funded to date and has managed its growth carefully while maintaining the quality standards that are fundamental to Peloton's future. We've grown from a two person operation in 1995 to a seventy person operation incorporating subsidiaries in the US, the Netherlands and Barbados, with offices in Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Bridgetown, Calgary, Dubai, Houston, Jakarta and Moscow.

The word "peloton" means fearless or brave in Finnish and platoon or group in both French and Spanish. It was chosen as the name of the company because it was unique and distinctive. It is most commonly used to refer to the main group of bicycle riders in a bike race.
